The Chicago Cultural Alliance returns with its 3rd annual Activating Heritage Conference, a one-day professional development conference for heritage-based cultural and museum professionals. This year’s theme, Leadership In a Time of Turbulence: Placekeeping as Resistance, explores the ways in which heritage centers and museums alike can drive community-based preservation and renewal, fighting against forces of gentrification. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Registration for Activating Heritage opens September 18th. For registration information, click here.
