For this exhibition, New York-based artist Anne Lindberg has created 6 monumental abstract drawings with graphite and colored pencil on matboard using her signature systemic, non-representational thin lines. Using a custom-made oversized architect’s drawing board designed by a principal at el dorado architects, these artworks are rendered with a variety of colors, from subtle graphite grays to saturated ambers, gold and elements of fluorescence. Mounted on a 60-foot gallery wall, these large drawings are accompanied in the space by an artist-made 40-foot wooden “bench” resembling one block of wood - designed for contemplation and exploration.
