Considered a “total work of art,” Edgar Miller’s Glasner Studio is the late Chicago artist’s masterwork of architecture, design, and art. The home, part of a complex of former live-work art studios built in the 1920s, is an ideal venue to be fully immersed in a conversation on topics of historical context and cultural and architectural legacies. This private tour and in-depth discussion held in the Glasner Studio offers an intimate opportunity to visit a groundbreaking work of artistic place-making. The program brings together professionals of diverse practices and academic interests, and raises awareness of Miller’s work.

This event is organized by Edgar Miller Legacy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the appreciation of the life and work of the late American artist Edgar Miller, supporting the preservation of Miller’s art, design, and architecture, and encouraging the spirit of ingenuity in others through public programming, educational opportunities, published research, and collaborative activities.
