This event brings together thought leaders in organizational psychology, sociology, law, architecture and engineering to address the ongoing inequitable treatment of women in the AEC industries. Speakers will present new scholarship that can be integrated by participating firms to address unconscious bias, unequal pay, promotion practices, and diversity issues in a practical and measurable way. The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation works to change professional culture on the ground, in large firms that employ many female professionals. This event includes a public screening of 100 Women Architects in the Studio of Frank Lloyd Wright. Created by BWAF in 2012, the documentary focuses on the important but unsung roles played by women in Wright's practice. BWAF will also launch "Pioneering Women of American Architecture," a new interactive website comprised of 50 scholarly essays on historical women architects, critics, engineers.

Please note that the film screening will take place at Perkins+Will's offices in the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave Suite 1600, Chicago, IL 60611.
