Eric Keune, Design Director at SOM, shares some of the firm’s recent work in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, along with several international projects informed by the firm’s work in its “hometown”. The influence of SOM’s work on Chicago’s skyline is unparalleled, including such iconic buildings as Willis Tower, Trump Tower and the Hancock Building.
Eric Keune, AIA is a Design Director with SOM, where he has worked for the last 19 years in both the Chicago and San Francisco offices. During his tenure with SOM, Eric has designed and built two projects for the State Department in Beijing and Guangzhou, as well as the Kia Motors Headquarters and Automotive Design Center in Irvine, the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, California and, locally, an apartment for his family on Lake Shore Drive.
