"Oh, unforeseen utility of the superfluous! Charity of great things! Goodness of giants!"

Based on Victor Hugo's classic Les Misérables, this architectural project investigates shelter and homelessness. The exhibition includes 11 designs by the Architecture & Interior Architecture students from Odile Compagnon's class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

This event is organized by the Alliance Française de Chicago. Our mission is to be Chicago’s center of French language and French-speaking cultures—to promote exchange, understanding, and friendship between Americans and French-speaking people—from Europe, Canada, Cajun country, Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East—a world of over 220 million French speakers. af-chicago.org
