The Instituto Cervantes hosts an exhibition organized by l'Artban, an art consultancy company that represents contemporary visual artists. L'Artban's mission is to impart knowledge about contemporary art and show the importance of visual arts in the contemporary society.

Jesús Chamizo, The Architect of Images

Held at the Instituto Cervantes, this exhibition presents 12 photographs by Jesús Chamizo, showing the work of the Spanish architect Antonio Palacios. During the 20th century, Palacios transformed Madrid into a modern city. His success was due to an eclectic style that absorbed the modernist architectural elements in Europe as well as the ideas of the Chicago School, and combined them with traditional elements from Spanish architecture. To this day, Palacios’ buildings remain some of the most emblematic in Madrid.
